It’s not enough to know SAP. Or computers. Or business processes. Many consultants speak English, German or French. Or ABAP, or Java. But there’s one language that every consultant needs to speak that wants to succeed in project work: The language of the customer.
To achieve this, one must have a way with people. Respect their competences and their personality. No matter who you are talking with: You have to talk as true partners. Or as a fellow consultant once said: You must pick up the customer where he is.
Leadership is also important: The art of comprehending the competences and abilities of each team member and of applying them to the best mutual benefit.
I can offer you that all. And also all the languages.
